    26 April 2010 - 28 April 2010

    Cleantech Forum XXVII

Cleantech Forum Paris returns to Europe for the 6th time on April 26-28th 2010 at Le Méridien Etoile. Part of the world's original and longest-running annual Cleantech Forum series, The Forum will bring together 500 European and global clean technology leaders.

This year's theme, "Into the 2010's: taking cleantech to scale", is based on Cleantech Group's viewpoint that this decade will see significant change in the cleantech innovation landscape, as the influence of deep-pocketed corporate titans and governments globally grows, as technology is scaled up across the industrial landscape and through a variety of business models and financing mechanisms.

With these changes, the spotlight will shift from technology development to industrial-scale manufacturing and deployment. Concurrently, the opportunities and risks increase proportionally for companies, cities and countries alike.

The year's European Cleantech Forum agenda will:

    • Identify and interpret the key trends impacting cleantech in 2010 and beyond
    • Cover timely subjects – what next post-Copenhagen, how is global Stimulus impacting the economy and cleantech, how nuclear competes' with other future energy alternatives
    • Explore trends and issues that cannot be ignored – the rise of Green Asia, the changing face and models in financing innovation, the potential crises in raw material supply
    • Examine particular areas of innovation activity for the 2010s – Agriculture, Biofuels, Building materials, Carbon Capture,  E-mobility, Solar, Waste, Water treatment, etc.
    • Put larger corporations to the fore – and track what are their cleantech efforts - expect contributions from Alstom,Schneider Electric, SNCF, Total, and Veolia
    • Showcase bright stars amongst the private, growth companies in cleantech

Mark Spelman, Global Head of Strategy, Accenture
